Cooking with Emily: Spinach & Ricotta Gnudi

It has been far too long since I have returned to the cooking I learned in Italy and added a recipe to the blog.  Now that life is starting to get truly settled in MN, I am excited to get back to cooking and sharing these recipes.  And the best thing is that Emily is now old enough to start helping.  She certainly has to be monitored, can only help with certain parts of the process and I need to accept the fact that she will make a complete mess, but it sure is worth it to cook together!  Our first official blog recipe made together:

Enjoy!

  1. Glad you’re back. Think I’ll try the gnudi this weekend. Emily had quite the sentence at our house. “I go eat blueberries in my tent”. We had a wonderful time, but it was the first time she showed some distress about missing you guys. Cried for about ten seconds and said I want mommy and daddy but then distracted her right away and Tuesday am, when I went in to get her, she was all smiles but apparently her doll missed her mommy. We’ll send Mr sheep and her phone from up here. Seems like we always forget something.
